​I came across this Northern Pacific rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus) tucked neatly into the rocks while scrambling off-trail to find a unique foreground composition. It’s a "striking" reminder that the valley isn't just a static gallery of grand landscapes—it’s a living, dynamic ecosystem.
