Flow
The feeling you get when your knee deep in a waterfall like this and there's not another soul around. Here, water flows over moss-covered basalt and drops down a series of beautiful tiers before rushing around my legs. I'm wet, cold, and in a complete state of flow.
For about 5 minutes each summer day, the sun peers over the ridge like you see above. In no time, the scene is awash with busy, high contrast light. Still beautiful, but the photographic potential plummets.
