Granite & Mist

Every curve in nature has its own story, and this gentle arc of fog rolling through Yosemite Valley stopped me in my tracks. There's a striking awe in these natural curves that always nudges me to capture them.

Here, the massive wall of granite meets the sky almost dead center, breaking the 'rule of thirds' we often hold dear. But in this moment, it just felt right–the solidity of the rock face holds its own against the soft, shifting veil of fog above.
